So, These mean that happiness could not be defined in a single word. Therefore, explaining happiness by one individual is pointless. It can only be experienced. Really peepz, its pointless explaining the meaning of it to this girl. Everyone define things differently. Example this happiness.
You said, happiness is about sharing love. She said happiness is about sharing others happiness.

So, What is happiness?
A suffer within and a clear smile?

Let me define cheerfullness. Some people may say that cheerfullness is when one smile widely, having fun and care nothing but happiness. Some may say, when one is cheerfull, they tend to excutes a warm aura of love and everyone around him/her will feel comfortable and calm. Others say, their cheerfullness is addictive. Etc,Well I agree with them all. Everyone defines cheerfullness differently. No one is wrong =) Cheerfullness is everything. But does one knows, cheerfullness also include hiding? I mean, when someone is cheerfull, they tend to hide what is in their heart or what is troubling them. So, no one around him/her will know. And so, no one will worry about him/her. Cheerfullness is just a sheer of disguise. Its a powerful tool where no one can get close to your troubled heart. It is the tool where some people use to get rid of their miseries. Some says its addictive. Well, its true. When one is cheerful, hiding his/her misery deep inside, smiling and lively outside, everyone around him/her will eventually smile with happiness. Yes, happiness, not knowing what is in the other party's heart. Happiness, an act of stupidity? Unrealising the reality? Fooled by ecstasy? Dull.
When one is cheerfull, hiding their worries, yet someone around him/her realises something amiss, then what should that someone do?
Well, if that someone is me, i would stop this act of shame. Return to reality. Serious and focus but yet slow and calm. And let him/her share the probs. If they refuse. Rule no.1- Never force them to talk if they dont wanna. Instead,be cool. Even if you dont know what's bothering them, still, its never wrong to give words of encouragement. So please do something that can light up their moods...etc.

In collins' thesaurus, it define happiness as gladness. Let make it short. Just like cheerfullness, gladness is the same. Except for the amount of effort one has to put in -its different. Gladness, a calm heart,a smile,suffer within,etc. Just like cheerfullness, its an act of disguise. You are glad someone close to you or maybe someone you like/love is happy. But deep inside, u suffer. You keep quiet. And no one knows.

Well, im not saying when everyone is happy, there's a problem in their heart. No. Im only saying there are people who tends to hide their miseries, while wearing a mask of delight. A defination of happiness by an anime.
In this anime, which i havent yet finished watching the serious. About few more episodes to go. Hee. Its about a high school student couple. The boy is popular among the girls. And the girl is just simple and normal.

Before the girl met the boy. The boy has a girlfriend who is 2 years older than him. Well, make it short. His girlfriend died in summer holiday in a car (or was it in a van?) with her ex-boyfriend. So, now, the boy thinks she's a cheat. But still, she's the first and only love he had ever loved. Then came this simple girl.

So, his ex-girlfriend defined happiness as : She said:
Happiness is like hot cocoa on a cold day, right?

Then the boy asked the girl.
Boy: What is happiness?

Girl : Whay could it be?
Girl: That's difficult.
Girl: Let me see.
Girl: Ah! Something warm.

Boy: Warm?

Girl: Yep. Like meat buns, or baked potatoes which keep you warm on cold days. Something that can warm up your heart.

Boy: Meat buns, eh?

Girl: Not necessarily. It could also be a book or CD i like.......or maybe someone i like..

Well, what im trying to say is. Different people define happiness differently. Example in this anime. She defined it differently.
